Pipeline Construction Manager
Aerotek is currently hiring for an experience pipeline construction foreman in the Cameron and Clearfield counties of Pennsylvania.
Position Summary
Responsible for managing operations of assigned area / facility including daily operations, maintenance, safety and compliance and construction with a focus on the construction of gas pipeline, processing, and gathering systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Oversee and Manage daily operations of assigned plant and pipeline system(s)
-Supervise plant and system operators
-Schedule maintenance activities
-Provide input for AFE's for maintenance and capital projects
-Keep Gas Control apprised of situations that affect flow.
-Manage/ Supervision of construction, either directly or through third party inspectors
-Approve and code invoices
-Maintain customer and inter-company contacts at appropriate level
-Maintain (adequate) inventory of repair parts to keep system(s) operating
-Provide adequate training and resources to create a safe working environment
-Ensure compliance and proper documentation for various regulatory programs including PSM, DOT, RMP, and OSHA.
-Remain up-to-date with Operation and Maintenance Plan; perform routine scheduled tasks as detailed in plan
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
