Building Commissioning Professional
We are currently looking for a qualified Building Commissioning Professional. We are a provider of mechanical systems test and balance services.
We assess important elements such as pressure relationships, control sequencing, equipment operating data, energy consumption and indoor air quality.
Building Commissioning usually dealt with the buildings mechanical and controls systems and focused on end of construction testing and verification. Now, commissioning has evolved to include building systems and continues its involvement from before the design phase to the end of warranty. This industry continues to grow towards environmentally sustainable construction practices, which allows for more important role in making those ideas into reality.
Specific tasks performed by Commissioning Professionals are:
- Write commissioning reports.
- Execute functional tests.
- Review the owner’s project requirements, design docs, and equipment submittals.
- Work with building owners, architects, design engineers, contractors, and operators to make sure the owners are satisfied.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mechanical , Electrical, or CEM degree preferred
- General knowledge of construction and energy use.
- Interest in environmental responsibility, sustainability, and green building practices.
- Proficient writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
