Estimator
Our client is a leading national general contractor providing construction services. They are currently seeking an Intermediate Project Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have the following required qualifications:
*The ability to work in a team environment
*Thorough knowledge of Canadian construction and building codes
*Civil Engineering background
*Minimum 5 years experience with ICI construction estimating
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail
*An Engineering degree or diploma is an asset
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Providing estimating from budgeting/estimating stage through to the contract/planning stage
*Contacting appropriate suppliers and communicating with external clients
*Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients
