Construction Project Engineer
Aerotek is currently hiring for experienced construction project engineers to work with its client based out of the Baltimore, MD area.
Project Engineers will be responsible for:
-Plan, develop, coordinate, supervise and monitor on-site construction engineering activities for a particular project;
-Maintain liaison with architect/engineer and owner regarding project progress and changes.
-Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and client requirements and support overall construction schedule.
-Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, and application of construction methods.
-Review shop drawings; resolve and document design conflicts and discrepancies arising between architects, mechanical and electrical trades, field changes, reviews, etc.
-Represent company, project and/or department during architect/engineer, owner and project management meetings.
Requirements include a technical or engineering degree and experience interfacing with Architects. (Engineers with Civil, Electrical or Mechanical backgrounds
