Commercial Project Manager
Aerotek is currently hiring for the position of a commercial Project Manager for our client located in Baltimore, MD.
Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects in the PG County/NE DC area. They are a commercial general contractor offering proven reliability, experience and expertise as a builder performing work in central Maryland, Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia.
Qualified Candidates:
-Will be experience with new construction, additions and renovations.
-Will have approximately 8 yrs experience with Commercial Construction Experience as a Project Manager.
-Will have experience in building shopping centers, churches and religious facilities, tenant interiors and commercial office buildings.
Duties Include:
-Handling two to three projects at a time from conception to completion costing in the $3 million dollar range.
-Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
-Daily management and supervision of staff.
-Negotiate and Prepare Subcontractors
-Act as a liaison between architects, owners, engineers, and superintendents
-Maintain working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Create, update and maintain project schedules.
-Negotiate, prepare, issue and execute contracts and change orders.
-Organize and maintain project documents.
-Track job costs and update budget projections.
