Construction Superintendent
National General Contractor is seeking a Superintendent for their Chicago operations.
This Superintendent will be working on a 2 year CTA project in the city. This is an immediate and permanent position.
Job Duties Include:
- Day to day supervision of project site.
- Supervise company field force labor.
- Supervise subcontractor activities.
- Direct responsibility for project safety.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation to include daily logs and photos.
- Resolve field conflicts.
- Ensure proper job sequencing.
- Produce/submit RFI's.
- Liaison with owner occupant.
- Performing other related duties as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Candidate needs to have 10+ years of commercial or civil construction experience.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Stable work history.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
