Mechanical Sr. Project Manager
One of the largest mechanical contractors in the Northwest, University Mechanical, is seeking skilled, qualified mechanical Project Manager(s) to over look projects in the greater Puget Sound/ Seattle metropolitan area.
General position summary:
Manage mechanical construction projects through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of cost/profitability on construction projects.
Essential functions/ major responsibilities:
- Estimate and negotiate change orders. - Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/ contract integrated project schedule. - Develop and maintain client relations. - Interfaces with all departments within the company (detailing, engineering, estimating, accounting, purchasing, warehouse, shop and service.) - Ability to accurately estimate mechanical work. - Supervise, mentor, and lead project engineer(s), detailer(s) and jobsite staff.
