Resident Engineer
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, problem resolution, record-keeping and reporting, personnel management, and contract administration. This position requires project leadership, responsibility, and accountability for completing design and construction projects integral to the business plans. In addition, the RE candidate will work with construction coordinators and inspectors on assigned projects, resolve project issues, conflicts, and problems, manage construction budgets, including contingency, construction management, and administration, manage aspects of contract administration and completion.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology or related field and at least ten years of progressively increased responsibility in engineering design or construction management. State of California Professional Engineer's license is a plus!
