Operations Manager
Our client is one of the Bay Area's leading suppliers of scaffolding, concrete shoring and formwork products for construction and industrial maintenance.
We are currently looking for an motivated, accomplished individual with a SALES and ESTIMATING background to join their ambitious team.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Must be ambitious and self-motivated
- Must have excellent communication skills
- FIVE (5) years warehouse management experience
- Experience with scaffolding, shoring and/or forming products is highly desirable
- Above average competency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Manage and directs Yard & Warehouse union employees
- Conduct Safety meetings and enforces OSHA & DOT compliance
- Manage all functions within Patent’s Yard and Warehouse as they relate to the supervision and development of warehouse staff
- Enforce and ensures that company policies, safety requirements and procedures are conveyed and understood by all appropriate personnel responsible for operations
- Oversee the processing and distribution activities such as the shipment of rental equipment to construction and industrial sites; receiving rental equipment returns; and maintains inventory of equipment
