Construction Superintendent/Proj Manager
We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager / Superintendent for a an international, award winning, design-build infrastructure and environmental solutions firm in the Los Angeles area. This company provides clients with planning, design, and construction of vertical and horizontal infrastructure and facilities. They also provide comprehensive environmental solutions including studies, designs, and remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Directing and coordinating activities relating to the projects
- Supervising and supporting site staff in the day-to-day project management
- Supervising and controlling the work and progress of sub-contractors
- Responsible for proposal and estimate preparation
- Monitoring and controlling project budgets, direct costs and schedules
- Primary client contact on projects
- Preparing project progress and financial reports
Requirements
- 10+ years experience working in vertical construction
- 7+ years experience working on government projects
- Advanced Excel skills required
- BS degree in Engineering or Construction discipline a plus
- Strong communication skills required
- Experience with civil construction, roads, buildings a plus
- Experience with government, military, army, navy or any federal projects is preferable
